Guys this project has been on going for several years. Local 1518 members found a part of their past sitting in a barn in west Texas. The membership acted to bring the old truck back to life. A vote was taken and the truck was bought and members committed to 100.00 per member for restoration. Well several years later things have began to happen. The motor is ready and running and will soon be installed in the cab. With that done then the ladder restoration will began. Capt. Brown and Tull have been leading the restoration of this valued piece of our fire service history. Capt. Brown has sent the following pictures. We will try to post updates on the progress.
Local 1518 members work flower beds. Local members David Shedd, Kenny Crawford, Justin James,Paul Polish, Eric Haake, Drew Gadoci, Rookie Matt Taylor worked the front beds of Sta5 with money made from the sell of station Tees and a little from admin to improve the looks of OUR STATION. Thanks to Chief Kerby for the support and the money.
