Each May all 3 shifts spend 2 different days on the streets collecting the donations for The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The 2018 totals are in and this year the Mesquite Fire Department was able to donate $27,000. This would not have been possible without the generous donations of the citizens we serve.

The Mesquite Firefighters Association L1518 would like to thank the City of Mesquite for letting our crews stand on the street and collect. We would also like to thank the firefighters for collecting for a great cause.

Thanks to all the generous donations, MDA is able to provide an amazing summer camp experience at no cost to families. Whether you gave 5¢, $5 or $500, your donation will give kids a life-changing, confidence-building experience.
